These photos are not staged in any way. I use two digital point-and-shoots -- nothing fancy. One of these photos is so old it is even from a -- gasp -- disposable.
In the case of the Food gallery, all photos are candid shots from real New Jersey and New York eateries: diners, chain restaurants, chinese food joints, local restaurants, train station display cases (yes, I photographed through glass) and slightly pricier boutique restaurants. This is how the food came to the table. This is the real lighting.
